BE A DISCIPLE MAKER

A disciple is someone who baptizes people (helping people meet Jesus) and then teaches people to obey everything Jesus commanded (helping people journey with Jesus).

As a church we exist to help people meet Jesus and journey with him so we ought to be a church of people who baptize people and teach people to obey everything Jesus commanded, reproducing within our church more and more people who are embracing this lifestyle of baptizing people and teaching people to obey everything Jesus commanded us. 

The person making disciples understands what Jesus said:

Teach them to obey my commands. Not teach them to know my commands. I’m not teaching you what Jesus taught so you can know it. I’m teaching it so we can do it. If we aren’t doing it, we aren’t doing it.
